This experience was well worth the money and a day out of the office. It reinforced good communication, teamwork, and also gave me additional insights that will help us excel. ~ Magali Lutz, Financial Advisor, Edward Jones
The LeadChange program is a unique and powerful vehicle for approaching leadership and team-building in an entirely new way. The curriculum and setting are incredible, but perhaps most valuable is Shawna’s keen eye and business sense in teasing out opportunities to gain trust and understanding, and to drive improvement. It was an incredibly valuable experience for our team. ~ Christian Bezenar, Regional Manager, JRF Ortho
This is a very effective team experience that is quintessentially “Colorado”. ~ Kelsey Johnson, Director Executive Education at Daniels College of Business, University of Denver
LeadChange brought us closer and helped us appreciate each other’s strengths and roles. If you are looking for a way to inspire your employees and learn about yourself, I highly recommend LeadChange.
~Erin Pass, Founder of the Acupuncture Clinic of Boulder, Inc.
There are only so many ways that a manager can cut costs or stream-line a program in order to increase returns. At some point one sees the elephant in the room and realizes that improving team dynamics not only gives short term benefits but also produces long term dividends. The LeadChange program at Colorado Horse Rescue provides this opportunity while benefiting a good cause. It’s a win-win value proposition. ~ Ben Scott, ABSL Space Products Program Manager
I had an amazing time connecting with horses and my team. I learned a lot about myself, and teamwork. Horses are incredible creatures with such intelligence, beauty and are wonderful teachers. I am grateful to be part of a fantastic team all willing to stretch and grow by putting themselves in situations outside of their comfort zone. Take-aways:
Staying calm, centered, and grounded in the face of challenging and potentially frustrating situations is vital to accomplishing goals
Communication and patience are key
Often solutions are found through out-of-the-box thinking
Sometimes rushing into a challenge and/or moving quickly is not the fastest way to get results (and sometimes stepping back and observing gives us the most information)
~Noah Goldstein, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
The greatest learning objectives were speaking up, gaining clarity, building agreements, being patient, experimenting, letting others lead, celebrating others successes, and team winning vs. individual winning.
~Ashley Sodaro, Assistant Director Executive Education at Daniels College of Business, University of Denver
Each exercise slowly built us up to recognize a “herd mentality”. It has strengthened our awareness as a group that the herd mentality is a catalyst for success. Any team that wants to explore avenues of improvement and bonding, I highly recommend the LeadChange program. Shawna has a unique ability to connect business acumen to a fun and beautiful environment.
